Prior to the Council Meeting to be held in Bali on 14 December , Gen. Dahlan Al-Hamad,President , Asian AA met Indonesian Athletics Federation President Mr Luhut Pandjaitan on 13 December 2022. They had fruitful discussions over breakfast. One of the critical points during the discussion was how to spearhead the development of athletics throughout Asia. Mr Luhut was confident that Indonesian Athletics would continue actively supporting the development process. He also expressed that Indonesia has already initiated the development of athletes at the youth level at their Federation.
During the meeting, the Secretary General of Asian AA, Mr. A. Shuggumarran and the General Secretary of the Indonesian Athletics Federation, Mr Tigor M. Tanjung, were present.
