China's Xinfeng Xu equalled his own national record with 48.68 to win the Men's 400m Hurdles, also a personal best, ahead of Sri Lanka's Ayomal Akalanka Kuda Liyanage (49.03 PB) and China's Anan Ye (49.04). In the women's race, Chinese Taipei's Hsin Ju Chung claimed gold in a personal-best 57.41, with Uzbekistan's Nurkhon Ochilova (57.99) and India's Shravani Sachin Sangle (58.09) completing the podium.
There was a second storyline building across the day for Uzbekistan's Jonbibi Hukmova, who followed her Women's 800m victory on Day Two with a personal-best 51.19 to win Women's 400m gold as well, holding off the Philippines' Naomi Kaylia Johnson (52.34) and Sri Lanka's Jithma Shenari Wijethunga (53.10 PB) — a two-discipline sweep that has made her one of the faces of these Championships.
India's Shivaji Parashuram Madappagoudra also continued his own strong week on the roads and track, adding 10000m silver in a personal-best 29:33.54 behind Japan's Yoshihiro Kusuoka (29:29.34), with China's Jinzhi Jiang (29:42.54) taking bronze.
Elsewhere on the track, Chinese Taipei's Bo An Yi won the Women's 100m Hurdles in 13.28 ahead of Japan's Ami Takahashi (13.31 SB) and China's Anqi Wu (13.34).
In the Men's 400m, Japan's Shinya Hayashi (45.26 PB) narrowly held off Vietnam's Ngoc Tuong Ta (45.50 PB) and China's Zhexuan Shao (45.92 PB) in a race where all three medallists ran lifetime bests.
The field events were no less competitive. China's Zhuofan Xu took Men's Long Jump gold with 7.87m, just ahead of Japan's Takuma Sekine (7.85m) and China's Maisong Wang (7.85m) on countback.
Qatar's Seifeldin Mohamed A Abdelsalam cleared 5.45m to win the Men's Pole Vault, with China's Rui Liu (5.20m) taking silver and Kazakhstan's Maxim Balabin clearing a personal-best 5.05m for bronze.
China continued its dominance in the throws, with Zhuhui Ding winning the Women's Shot Put at 17.15m and Zhichao Jiang topping the Women's Discus Throw with 58.63m. The team competition remains firmly shaped by China's breadth across every discipline group, though Japan, Uzbekistan, India, and Chinese Taipei all picked up multiple medals on Saturday.
