Governing athletics across Asia since 1973

Asian Athletics is the continental governing body for track and field, road running, cross country and race walking — one of the six area associations of World Athletics and a member of the Olympic Council of Asia.

Founded in Manila in 1973 and based at a secretariat in Pathum Thani, Thailand, the association sanctions fourteen championship properties, ratifies Asian records and represents forty-five member federations.
