
Bangkok, January 28, 2025: Asian Athletics (AA) successfully conducted an induction seminar via Zoom for the presidents and general secretaries of its member federations, especially those newly elected. The seminar, aimed to familiarize the participants with the organizational structure, obligations, and administrative protocols of Asian Athletics, while also providing updates on key operational aspects.
The seminar commenced with a briefing by Gen. Dahlan Al Hamad, who presented an overview of the organizational chart of Asian Athletics, outlining the key functions and responsibilities . He provided valuable insights into the structure and operations of the organization.

Secretary General Mr. A. Shuggumarran delivered an informative session on the obligations of member federations. He highlighted essential administrative protocols, ensuring that member federations are well-equipped to adhere to the standards and practices expected by Asian Athletics.

Competition Director Mr. C.K. Valson provided a concise overview of the online entry guidelines for competitions. He emphasized Asian athletics' commitment to enhancing convenience for member federations by enabling competition entries through mobile devices.
The seminar also featured a presentation by the Development Director Mr. Salman Butt, who briefed attendees on the Asian Athletics Strategic Plan 2022–2030. This plan outlines the organization’s long-term vision and strategic goals, underscoring Asian Athletics’ dedication to fostering growth and excellence across the continent.

The induction seminar served as a platform for new officials to gain a understanding of Asian Athletics’ operations and goals. It also reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Asian member federations in achieving shared goals of development and success in athletics.
