Audience with His Excellency José Ramos-Horta, President of Timor Leste
With Minister of Youth and Sport of Timor Leste HE Nelyu Isaac this morning.
The Minister plans to integrate athletics into the school curriculum and work closely with the Ministry of Education. Asian Athletics shared ideas on coach development, including online courses and e-learning platforms. The delegation also encouraged the implementation of Kids Athletics, for which the national federation has 12 sets of equipment and 5 certified coaches. With this commitment from the government, now the NF can present an attractive proposal for more activities and seek the government for funding in this matter.
Prior to their departure, they had the honor of an audience with His Excellency José Ramos-Horta, President of Timor Leste.
