New Delhi , India – Asian Athletics is proud to announce that its President, General Dahlan Al Hamad, has been elected as the Vice Chairman of the International Federation/Area Federation (IF/AF) Relations Committee of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) during the 44th OCA General Assembly.
The IF/AF Relations Committee is responsible for strengthening cooperation between the OCA and various sports federations across Asia. Through his new role, Gen. Dahlan will work to enhance partnerships and foster collaboration among Olympic sports organizations, helping to align efforts to promote sports across the continent.
Gen. Dahlan in his remarks stated ,
“I am deeply honored to be elected to the IF/AF Relations Committee and look forward to working with my colleagues to further the growth of sports in Asia,”
“This opportunity will allow us to continue fostering collaboration between federations, ensuring the development of athletics and other Olympic disciplines in line with the values of the Olympic Movement.”
