Fang Yaoqing of China made Tokyo 2020 cut in Triple jump- Asian Grand Prix 2019 Jiangjin

Jiangjin, Chongqing, China, 5th June 2019: Fang Yaoqing of China shine in the 1st leg of Asian Grand Prix 2019 held at Jiangjin Stadium, Chongqing . Fang, 23 years old jumper jumped to 17.17m in the head wind to qualify for the IAAF World Championship 2019 and also achieved Tokyo 2020 automatic qualification distance.  Fang not only beat his teammate but also newly crowned Asian Champion, Ruslan Kurbanov of Uzbekistan. Although, two other Asian champion survived to win their respective events. Safronova Olga of Kazakhstan won 100m in 11.54s while Nadiya Dusanova of Uzbekistan was supreme with a jump of 1.89m. Over 12000 spectators attended the first leg of AGP 2019. 2nd leg of Asian Grand Prix will be held at Olympic centre, Chongqing on 7th June from 6:30pm-9:40pm.
