Singapore, 16th March 2019 – Candidatures for the election of the Asian Athletics Association Council for the term 2019-2023 has been finalised. Asian Athletics Association member federation’s delegates will gather in Doha, Qatar on 20th April 2019 prior to the start of the 23rd Asian Athletics Championship to choose Asian Athletics Council and committee members.
Congress is convened biannually and this year it will be held at Doha (Qatar)
Congress shall also appoint members on various committees such as a) Technical Committee, (b) Women’s Committee, (c) Medical Committee, (d) Coaching Committee, (e) Cross Country & Road Running Committee and (f) Race Walking Committee.
