Dammam, Saudi Arabia – October 7 to 9, 2024, a high-level delegation from the Asian Athletics (AA) conducted a successful site visit to Dammam, the host city for the upcoming 6th Asian U18 Athletics Championships, scheduled for April 2025. The visit was led by Gen. Dahlan Al Hamad, President of the Asian Athletics.
The delegation, which also included AA Secretary General Mr. A. Shuggumarran, AA Competition Director Mr. C.K. Valson, AA Protocol Director Mr. Raghdan Faisal, and Mr. Mahmoud Abul, Technical Delegate
Several meetings with the Saudi Arabian Athletics Federation, led by its President Dr. Habeb Rabaan and his team were held.
Key highlights of the visit included extensive site inspections of the competition venues, training facilities, and accommodation arrangements.
