2nd April 2019, Bangkok: Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Asian Athletics Association (AAA) and the Athletics Association of Thailand (AAT). The MoU was signed by AAA President Gen. Dahlan Al Hamad and Gen. ML Prasobchai Kasemsan, AAT’s Senior Vice President.
Under the MoU, Asian Member federations could utilize the facilities at the National Field Training center in Bangkok Thailand. The training center will specialize in Shot Put, Discuss Throw, Javelin Throw and the Hammer Throw.
The National Field training center was officially inaugurated this morning by AAA President and AAT Sr. Vice President. The ceremony was attended by AAT Vice President and General Secretary Surapong Ariyamongkol , Presidents and General Secretaries of AAA Member federations and Members of AAT. AAA President said that with the signing of this MoU, developing Member federations could avail the facilities at the center and undergo training camps under qualified coaches.
