The first ever Central Asian Athletic Open Championships was held in Samarqand, the historic city of Uzbekistan. Over 230 Athletes from 7 Countries Participated in the Championships which was held from 24 to 25 September 2022.
AAA President Gen. Dahlan Al Hamad attended the Championships and in his opening remarks praised Central Asian Athletic Association for their initiative to hold these Championships.
During the Championships Gen. Dahlan met with H.E. Shoxrullo Makhmudov- Deputy Ministry of sports development of the Republic Uzbekistan.
AAA Sr. Vice President Maj. Gen Ariyamongkol Surapong and Vice President Maj. Gen Akram Sahi also attented the Championships.
