Asian AA organized Media Seminar titled “Athletics in the Eyes of the Media “
The seminar was inaugurated by The President of the Olympic Council of Asia, Sheikh Ahmed Al Fahad Al Sabah and attended by The President of World Athletics, Lord Sebastian Coe.
Over 200 Asian media personnels along with Asian Member Federation Presidents and General Secretaries participated in the seminar.
The Speakers were Jackie Brock-Doyle OBE , Executive Director of Communications Department World Athletics and Mr. James Lord, Broadcast Director of World Athletics.
AAA President Gen. Dahlan Al Hamad in his welcome speech said that Asian Athletics Associations’s strategy is aimed at supporting the national federations in innovative ways and laid out the steps being taken to ensure this.
Participants in the seminar addressed a number of ideas on how to identify various resources to make a real difference in coordinating sport through the media.
